TalkTalk Business has extended its partnership with Mitel to boost its UC offering for modern customers.
The expanded partnership responds to rapid growth in demand for solutions that enable and support remote working in the last year. According to the Lockdown Lessons report published by TalkTalk, 58 per cent of UK workers have been more productive since they began working from home.
The Mitel EU Cloud Survey, recording prior to the pandemic, also found that 44 per cent of businesses were prepared to migrate their contact centre into the cloud, and lockdown gave them that extra push.
Mitel’s cloud-based MiCloud Flex and Connect products augment the TalkTalk Business portfolio of voice and connectivity services designed for customers who have hybrid employees working from the office and from home.
Enabling Hybrid Workers Anywhere
The cloud-based offering from Mitel and TalkTalk enables voice, contact centre capabilities, and video-sharing on mobile and desktop. As one of the leading partners for Mitel in the UK for MiCloud Flex and MiCloud Connect, TalkTalk Business is offering a powerful solution to the market.
Enterprise Director for TalkTalk Business, Ian Cairns, said that working habits have changed dramatically in the last year, and the change isn’t going anywhere. Organisations now need a modern IT strategy that enables virtual productivity and collaboration. Fast and reliable connectivity needs to merge with tools for better communication.
The partnership between Mitel and TalkTalk addresses the growing demand for innovative communication and collaboration solutions. The cloud-based offerings can scale up or down to suit the needs of the organisation. MiCloud Connect supports companies with between 5 and 500 employees. The Flex solution is intended for businesses with more than 100 employees.
