Teams Success Drives AudioCodes Growth

AudioCodes grew revenue on Microsoft Teams, Zoom Phone and contact centre demand, with voice AI and Skype for Business migration.

AudioCodes growth driven by Teams

AudioCodes has reported revenue growth driven by its Teams credentials.

The firm saw sales climb 12.7 percent to over $66.1m in Q4, while full-year revenue grew at the same rate to $248.9m.

Speaking on an earnings call, AudioCodes CEO Shabtai Adlersberg, highlighted Teams growth as driving performance.

“At the core of the success was our Microsoft go-to-market,” he said.

“We are talking about growth of about 20 percent year-over-year in 2021. That was driven primarily by continued success for Microsoft Teams solutions"

“Sales of our Microsoft Teams solution extended growth of above 70 percent year-over-year and lapping the clients from Skype for Business, which now represents only about 10 percent of the total Microsoft UC contribution.

“Additionally, our contact centre quarterly business grew 12 percent year-over-year, and more than 15 percent for the full year.”

Adlersberg said that AudioCodes has also seen success in the Zoom space, particularly around Zoom Phone.

Elsewhere, he said that the businesses saw its voice AI business double in 2021, albeit from a small base of $5m revenue contribution.

However, he expects the business to contribute somewhere between $20m and $25m in two years time – driven by the acquisition of Callverso which was announced in 2021.

Last month AudioCodes announced the appointment of a new Chief Strategy Officer, with Dmitry Netis joining having spent 15 years covering the unified communication, collaboration and customer experience markets on Wall Street.
