Hosted VoIP Added to Invosys Through Acquisition of Telux HD

Invosys acquires Telux HD hosted VoIP

A leading company for call management, Invosys, recently announced their acquisition of the popular VoIP platform development group, Telux HD. Celebrating a growth that hopes to prove useful for both companies, the collaboration should see the future integration of the cloud-based number management portal produced by Invosys, into the Telux open-source platform for cloud communications.

The Invosys number management portal is designed to give customers the power to manage, configure, and monitor all their solutions for call management quickly and effectively. Combined with the cloud-communications service offered by Telux, the service is set to form a crucial piece of a brand-new channel introduced by Invosys, which will be called "Invosys Hosted". The system will include new cloud-based telephony services.

Launching a New Hosted Product

Speaking about the inspiration behind the acquisition, the CEO for Invosys, Rob Booth noted that instead of reselling hosted solutions from one of their legacy suppliers, the company wanted an opportunity to launch their very own hosted product, that would integrate seamlessly with the number manager. After a close evaluation of their customer needs and market requirements, Invosys found that the direct access to developers and owners that they could access through Telux, as well as the swift support resolution and development services the company offered, made them an obvious choice.

Invosys believe that the open-source nature of Telux HD should allow for limitless and simple integrations that facilitate a mutually beneficial development for both sides. The latest acquisition, according to Booth, has given Invosys the opportunity to harness brand new technology in their industry, and expand their wholesale channel to more customers than ever before.

A Positive Step in the Right Direction

According to the MD and co-founder of Telux HD, Murray Leach, the group has already invested heavily in opportunities to develop their technology in the VoIP market. Today, Telux HD shares the vision that Invosys have laid out, which centre around capitalising on the changes that are currently emerging in the voice and communications market, both within the UK, and across the globe too!

When commenting on the acquisition, the co-founder for Invosys further commented that the wholesale channel has already gathered plenty of experience dealing with matters of hosted telephony in the past. Because of that, the company believes that they understand the requirements in place for their offering to become more commercially viable, while including additional access to services and features that might not be available from other competitors.

Thanks to comprehensive support from Telux HD, Invosys believes that they have begun to develop something that works in line with their philosophy for consistently developing services that are rich in features and productivity-boosting solutions, but also simple to set up, easy for various companies to use, and equipped with competitive price tags. At present, Invosys feels that their new hosted offering should help them to make a mark on the current communications atmosphere, gradually becoming a crucial part of what their brand is known for.

Despite the acquisition, Telux HD will remain located in Manchester, and the two companies will be operating as separate entities.
