Twilio Welcomes New CTO: Jeremiah Brazeau

Twilio appoints Jeremiah Brazeau as CTO

Leading cloud communications platform, Twilio, recently announced the arrival of Jeremiah Brazeau as the new Chief Technology Officer (pictured above), for the company. As CTO, Brazeau will help with leading Twilio’s roadmap and technology strategy.

With this fantastic new hire, Twilio will be pulling together its architecture, data design, and platform, with the guidance of a single leader. Brazeau will be reporting directly to Chief Product Officer for Twilio, Chee Chew.

According to Chew, every day, more customers are trusting Twilio with access to their communications. As the crucial tool responsible for ensuring better relationships with customers, few things are more important to companies than their communications suite.

A New Addition to the Leadership Team

Around the world, millions of developers rely on Twilio to access new communications opportunities and improve human experience. Twilio is one of the leading innovators democratizing communications channels like video, chat, text, and voice, by offering access to APIs that are simple enough for any developer to access.

According to Chee Chew, Jeremiah’s experience of tech leadership in previous large companies and startup ventures will make him a valuable addition to Twilio’s team. Jeremiah has a skillset that allows the team to grow and innovate in service of their evolving customers. Twilio says that it’s thrilled to welcome someone like Brazeau to its leadership team.

Before Twilio, Brazeau was the senior vice president and a distinguished architect for Salesforce. At Salesforce, he was responsible for leading a team of software architects and engineers to deliver highly secure and scalable SaaS solutions. Jeremiah was also a principal engineer for the Amazon Robotics team, where he pioneered the concept of using robotics in the cloud.

Leveraging Years of Experience

Jeremiah brings years of expertise in the cloud and embedded technology solutions to Twilio as it continues to grow and innovate as this crucial time. His skills extend from excellent leadership, to an ability to bridge gaps between different teams in tech.

Twilio’s mission’s to transform the future of customer engagement is critical right now, according to Brazeau. In a time when COVID-19 is creating issues with connectivity, it’s more important than ever for companies to harness the digital world.

Jeremiah said that he believes that Twilio is well-positioned to drive connectivity between companies, customers, and individuals alike. He said he was thrilled to assist in accelerating and driving the technology roadmap that connects people in these difficult times.
