Appspace has confirmed it will demo features of its new Appspace app for Microsoft Teams during ISE 2023.

The company, which is a provider of workplace experience software, will integrate its Appspace Employee App with the Microsoft Teams platform via the desktop or mobile app.

Appspace states that its product enhancement will support employee productivity, generate cost savings, and make it easier to improve omnichannel communications.

Thomas Philippart de Foy, Chief Innovation Officer at Appspace, commented: “We launched Appspace for Microsoft last year to extend Microsoft capabilities and better connect the physical and digital workplace within the natural flow of work.

“Our seamless integration with Microsoft Teams further enhances productivity and communication whether employees work from home, in the office, or on the go.

“This one-of-a-kind integration demonstrates our single solution experience with Microsoft while generating significant cost savings.”

Appspace for Microsoft Teams will be part of the Appspace for Microsoft offering which means employees can receive workplace communications without leaving the collaboration platform.

Users will have access to workplace functions such as visitor management, room booking, and desk reservation from within Teams.

Appspace states the Teams integration will allow organisations to benefit from increased adoption of employee app tools and get more value from their Microsoft investment.

Appspace Broadcasts for Employees

The company isn’t just demoing its integration for Microsoft Teams at ISE 2023; it is also giving an insight into how it is revolutionising the broadcasting of information within the hybrid working environment.

Appspace is set to launch Appspace Broadcasts to allow organisations to simultaneously deliver company information to every employee, regardless of their working location.

Appspace states that the solution integrates with IPTV providers and emergency alert systems to trigger critical notifications automatically.

As well as emergency alerts, Appspace Broadcasts allows organisations to publish content such as live town halls and company events across channels like Microsoft Teams or digital signage.

Philippart de Foy added: “With the new way of working, organisations need to reach and connect with employees through all the channels people use daily – from texts to email.

“Appspace is the only company across both employee communications and workplace management capable of delivering instant or scheduled communication to everyone and every device, simplifying omnichannel communications strategies for organisations who want to engage with their entire workforces.”

Appspace for Google and Chrome Enterprise Partnership

Much like its Microsoft solution, Appspace launched ‘Appspace for Google’ in October last year to improve the workplace experience by providing connections to Google devices and software.

Appspace said the solution creates more productive and collaborative workplaces through Google Chrome Enterprise, Google Workspace, Google Meet and more integrations.

Companies already using Google products can gain access to a more excellent range of integrations while maintaining the same enterprise-grade security level.

As a result of the Appspace for Google, Appspace became a Chrome Enterprise recommended partner.

The company was named one of the fastest-growing, privately-owned companies in the USA in August 2022 when it was added to Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list.

The communications platform provider was ranked 1,870 overall and 251 for software companies, with the inclusion being the second year in which Appspace made the list.
