Dubber, a leading provider of access to voice data insights, recently announced an expansion to its partnership with Cisco. Dubber is the preferred compliant call recording platform for Cisco Webex and Cisco Unified Communications Manager, giving Cisco customers excellent recording opportunities at no additional cost.

The updated offering means Cisco will provide UCM and Webex Calling users with the option to record their conversations as part of the Webex subscription. If companies require extra features like video recording transcription, extra storage, AI insights or sentiment analysis, they can upgrade their Dubber plan within the Cisco control hub.

Business users with regulatory or compliance requirements to record and store calls can ensure easy recording, replay, and data storage through the Webex platform, meeting greater compliance obligations regardless of the employee work location.

An Exciting Step Forward

According to CEO of Dubber, Steve McGovern, expanding the relationship with Cisco is a major milestone. Dubber believes the connection with Cisco to be crucial in its quest to become the leading call recording and voice data solution. The relationship between Dubber and Cisco has helped to accelerate Dubber’s growth as a go-to choice for voice insights.

The expanded collaboration also means Cisco will become the first major Foundation Partner for Dubber. The Foundation Partner program created by Dubber uses the scale and cloud abilities of the Dubber platform to enable service providers to embed Dubber functionality in their service.

Dubber’s foundation partners can then cross and upsell better functionality for additional storage, AI services, and compliance. Launching Dubber call recording for UCMC, and Cisco Webex Callings represents a natural step forward for the relationship between the two company.

Dubber Foundation will enhance Cisco’s cloud calling offerings by giving customers a crucial capability as a standard feature. According to General Manager and VP of Webex Calling Online, Lorissa Horton, worldwide customers are beginning to respond to higher compliance and regulatory requirements for business tools. Solutions like Dubber will help clients to reach their industry demands, while offering access to advanced data solutions.

Unlocking the Power of Voice Recording

According to McGovern, the Foundation Partner Program gives Dubber a powerful additional stream of revenue, while preserving the company’s current revenue models, and generating growth opportunities for core products. Dubber and Cisco now have the opportunity to significantly increase uptake and consumption of call recording and voice data services in the platform.

Aside from being an embedded solution, Dubber also addresses critical data, regulatory and privacy requirements, while providing a simple and straightforward pathway to richer functionality as and when it’s required. Dubber AI data and recordings can be unified within the Dubber Voice Cloud alongside calls from other endpoints.

Games Slaney, COO of Dubber, said that Governments and businesses require more than just standard call recording today. Companies must be able to collect data in a compliant way that’s ready to convert for dispute resolution, revenue intelligence, customer service, and compliance.
