Clearspan is launching a service provider-focused UC&C platform which will include customisation options.

‘Clearspan Ping’, which will be available worldwide on May 1st, is designed for service providers and large enterprises.

The platform will enable secure voice, video and messaging from any device, anywhere.

Ping is also customisable, allowing bespoke setups for different customers, which Clearspan are saying will act as the bedrock of its plans to move further into personalised solutions.

Bill Crank, Chief Executive Officer at Clearspan, said: “At Clearspan, we’re committed to creating solutions that make it easier to create unique user experiences while retaining the security, privacy and controls that large organisations require.

“For decades, Clearspan has powered ubiquitous unified communications solutions that empower service providers and large organisations. Clearspan Ping is the next generation communications portal that enables personalised communications and will continue to digitally transform today’s modern workforce, no matter where they’re located.”

Features of Clearspan Ping include one to one and group voice, video, and messaging. Screen and file sharing, PTSN calling, and team rooms with private collaboration spaces are available.

Ping has flexible access options via desktop, mobile, browser, and others. Clearspan also describes the platform as brandable, customisable, and secure.

As Clearspan does not require companies to include its name in their product branding, the organisation will be able to benefit from increased exposure and association with Clearspan’s solution.

Customisation options for Ping allow for integrations such as faxing, texting, call centre agent control, IoT device monitoring, and cross-platform messaging.

The deployment of Ping is also flexible, allowing users to choose between cloud, private cloud, public cloud, or on-premise hosting.

Clearspan also said customers will have total control over their data, without data mining, because the platform is entirely private and has end-to-end encryption built in.

According to Clearspan, it has already trialled Ping with universities in the USA and global tier-one service providers.

Clearspan is a unified communications provider for service providers and large organisations with over forty years’ experience in the industry.

Last year, Clearspan entered into a strategic partnership with Greenpages, opening a new sales channel for its suite of UC&C tools.

Andy Singleton, Director of Product Development at Clearspan, spoke to UC Today recently about Microsoft Teams PBX integrations using TeamMate.
