Daisy Communications has acquired Premier Choice Telecom in a bid to boost its health offering.
The addition of Kent-based Premier Choice Telecom brings specialist knowledge of the health, education, and not-for-profit sectors to Daisyβs offerings. It also adds around 1.500 customers and 40 staff to the group, bringing Daisyβs overall headcount to over 500.
Daisy Communications CEO, Dave McGinn,Β stated:
βWeβre delighted to have acquired Premier Choice Telecom and look forward to the acquisition strengthening our proposition to businesses, especially those within healthβ
βWe have looked at Premier Choice Telecom as being a target for some time and are excited about the additional benefits that this acquisition will bring to us.
βIβm equally as excited about welcoming Premier Choice Telecomsβ 40 staff who will join us, and we can learn from to make this a success for everyone. I look forward to welcoming the employees and to helping all of our customers, both new and existing, collaborate, communicate and connect.β
Premier Choice has a clear focus within the healthcare sector which Daisy intends to use to build upon its existing presence in the health market, which was brought about by its previous acquisition of Essex-based Surgeryline. The comms provider is confident about the opportunities the addition of Premier Choice will bring to the group.
Premier Choice Managing Director, Nick Stansfield,Β added:Β βAfter 20 years of building Premier Choice Telecom, weβve decided itβs the right time to step away.
βHowever, weβre confident weβve left the business in safe, reliable and capable hands and are stepping away safe in the knowledge that Daisy Communications will not only continue to offer the same great service to our customers but also give our dedicated employees learning and growth opportunities so they can continue on their career paths. Weβre thankful for the last 20 years and look forward to seeing the business thrive and succeed in the future.β
