Daisy Group has announced the acquisition of B2B voice, mobile, data and video communications reseller DV02.

The Portsmouth-based business has been a Daisy Group Wholesale partner since 2004 and the move comes in the same week as Daisy announced the acquisition of long-time Distribution partner Voice Mobile.

The announcement underlines Daisy’s acquisitive strategy to support the exit plans of Directors of reseller businesses with whom it has a successful partnership.

Both acquisitions also provide Daisy with opportunities to maintain and grow its private and public sector customer base.

DVO2’s sales and operations teams will be retained in order to leverage synergies in the product portfolio and customer service ethos of both organisations.

Managing Director of Daisy SMB Services and Distribution Dave McGinn said:

“We are delighted to have acquired DV02 and welcome its customers and employees. It is another example of how we are keen to provide owners of partner businesses with a means of capitalising on their exit strategies.”

“Acquisitions of this nature have obvious positive ramifications for both parties and I now look forward to DVO2 customers and employees thriving within the Daisy SMB business.”

Vince Potter of DV02 said:

“We have enjoyed a great working relationship with Daisy for a number of years and when the time came to look at our future plans, they were the obvious partner to approach.

“The understanding between the two businesses leaves me with confidence that everything we have worked for, and the people we employ, will all be in safe hands.”
