Microsoft have just introduced their platform for business management into data centres throughout the UK. The solution, known as Dynamics 365, will give local businesses a new way to drive digital transformation solutions. Dynamics 365 is a cloud-based version of the latest Redmond option for enterprise resource planning, and the development of customer relationship management. The service will handle various back office functions, like logistics operations and financials, as well as customer-facing field sales and marketing activities, too.

The updated service will join Office 365 and Microsoft Azure in Microsoft’s UK cloud solution, and it will now be generally available across a range of sites within the UK.

The Introduction of the Microsoft Cloud

Thanks to the launch of Dynamics 365 in the UK, Microsoft have given countless companies the chance to make the move to cloud, and transform their digital business procedures. The evolution will move organisations from disconnected business structures, into flexible, intelligent solutions that offer better customer experiences.

According to the Lead at Microsoft UK, Chris Rothwell, the compliance and security abilities of Dynamics 365 ensure that local firms will have a chance to comply with regional data and requirements, ahead of the introduction of regulations for global data protection that are coming next year.

If that wasn’t exciting enough, Microsoft also have plans for introducing further related services to their portfolio, including the integration of Dynamics 365 for LinkedIn sales, and an update to Dynamics for Retail that will allow management clearer visibility across customers, stores, financials, inventory, and employees.

Customers Have Already Embraced Dynamics 365

Apparently, customers such as Sussex University Hospital, and the Renault Sport team for Formula One are already using Dynamics 365 in their business operations. Metro Bank are currently using the service to boost customer service, while Renault are using it to analyse and access data collected by its various cars during races.

Since Satya Nadella took over at Microsoft, the brand has been investing more significantly in cloud solutions, and that strategy has paid off well for them, according to their most recent financial report. The latest numbers showed a growing demand for Microsoft cloud services, and this year, the company has launched a host of new solutions. Both Azure Import/Export, and Azure search were delivered to customers in the UK this year, and Azure Blueprint was introduced for the UK government too, offering a higher level of cloud security.
