G12 Communications has launched a new Microsoft Operator Connect voice solution.

Harnessing Microsoft Azure Peering Service, Operator Connect enables businesses to choose their own voice calling operators via the Teams Admin Center.

Customers will now be able to opt for G12 to manage their voice calling services, as well as provide a shared service level agreement and technical support.

Rick Coma, CEO of G12 Communications, said: “We have always prided ourselves on offering a high-quality reliable solution with industry leading customer service and support. With this new offering, we’re better-equipped than ever to do so.

“We can not only help clients make the most of Microsoft Teams, we can do so while also taking care of networking, provisioning, management, and integration.”

As a Microsoft Operator Connect Partner, G12 can utilise direct peering with Microsoft’s data centres and its own infrastructure to provide improved connectivity and integration.

Operator Connect will now be added to G12’s Connect to Teams Portfolio, which includes Connect to Teams IP PBX, Direct Routing, and Cloud PBX Integration.

For customers who have struggled to manage direct routing or PBX systems but would like to move to Microsoft Teams, it is now simpler and cheaper to do so using G12 Operator Connect.

According to G12, its Operator Connect solution includes “leading customer service and support, 99.999% uptime, extensive coverage, and simple per user pricing plans.”

Rick Garcia, Chief Revenue Officer of G12 Communications, said: “G12 is a true provider, enabling our customers with cost-effective, purpose-built solutions that take the headache out of communications by supporting them through every stage of their digital transformation journey.

“Becoming an Operator Connect provider allows us to take Teams to the next level.

“Partnering with us means you’ll be able to deploy calling for MS Teams quickly based on your business’s unique needs, with options for more advanced features and functions.”

G12 is hosting a webinar tomorrow at 12pm PST, which will explain how the solution will work and how it could benefit your business.

G12 is a unified communications service provider for SMBs and enterprises. Its services include Cloud PBX, Cloud Contact Centre as a Service, MS Teams Integrated Cloud PBX, MS Teams Direct Routing, Cloud Faxing, Toll-Free Numbers, and more.

Microsoft Teams has added pay-as-you-go PSTN calling plans, adding to the current options of domestic and international calling plan options.

MetTel was recently approved for Operator Connect, joining a growing number of certified operators.

Nuwave, another Operator Connect Provider, spoke to UC Today about how channel partners can shift their Teams voice environments from direct routing to Operator Connect in a single click.
