“If one processing host fails, the automatic failover feature swiftly transfers all VPSs and PBXware instances to another host within the cluster, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless service for end users,” Cosic explains.
Geo Redundancy: When an entire cluster goes offline, geo-redundancy steps in by switching all services to a geographically dispersed site. This transfer of VPSs and PBXware instances to a secondary location enables MSPs to maintain uninterrupted operations for their customers.

“MSPs can easily scale by adding more processing hosts, PBXware instances, and VPSs, accommodating diverse customer needs and industry demands,” Cosic says.
Multi-site Clustering: SERVERware supports multi-site clustering, enabling providers to create a “geo-redundancy ring” by replicating clusters across multiple locations.
“Some of our partners choose to use geo-redundant sites as production sites that serve different customer bases, which not only enhances redundancy but also optimizes ROI.”
Backups: SERVERware’s backup functionality stores copies of VPSs locally, ensuring quick restoration if a VPS encounters issues. While the backup host does not run PBXware, it serves as a reliable safety net for restoring VPSs efficiently within the same cluster.

“As we said, having geo redundancy in place effectively means that even in case of an unexpected disaster, the service provider and customers are entirely covered in terms of data, service, and overall business continuity,” Cosic notes.
“Ultimately, the cost of implementing geo-redundancy is outweighed by the potential losses from service outages, making it a truly worthwhile investment,” she concludes.
