The cloud communications company, Intermedia, has announced its UCaaS and CCaaS solutions will be available via Intelisys.

Intelisys, a service provider, can now add Intermedia Unite, Intermedia Contact Centre, and Intermedia SIP Trunking to its portfolio.

The two companies have formed an agreement whereby Intelisys can distribute Intermedia’s technology through its partner programs: Agent and Customer Ownership Reseller.

Intelisys’ sales network will be able to which of Intermedia’s partner programs to sell through on a sale-by-sale basis.

John DeLozier, President at Intelisys, said: “We are extremely excited to welcome Intermedia into our portfolio of service offerings.

“Intermedia’s unique channel programs will enable our sales partners to expand their market opportunities using the Intermedia sales model that best fits their business needs.

“Meanwhile, our partners’ customers will enjoy the compelling benefits of the Intermedia portfolio of products, one of the most comprehensive, reliable, and secure communications and collaboration platforms available today.

“We believe our sales partners are really going to find great success with Intermedia.”

Intermedia’s Solutions and Partner Programs

Intermedia Unite: Intermedia’s UCaaS solution, first released in 2018, includes chat, video conferencing, contact centre, business phone, backup, and file sharing.

Intermedia Contact Centre: The Intermedia Contact Centre is available as part of Intermedia Unite or as a separate service. Customers will be able to utilise its omnichannel routing (via voice, webchat, email, and SMS), interactive voice response, contacting customers through preferred communication methods.

Intermedia SIP Trunking: With SIP Trunking, customers can route their phone calls over the internet, which Intermedia believes will reduce costs.

The key difference between Intermedia’s partner programs is a trade-off between customisation and support.

Intermedia’s CORE model allows partners to rebrand its solutions, create their own price points, and with a greater profit potential, but without customer, billing and first-line support.

Conversely, its agent program does not allow the same product customisations, but Intermedia supplies all support needs.

Michael Gold, CEO at Intermedia, said: “Partnering with Intelisys marks a critical step in the further growth of our channel community, as it will help us to bring our comprehensive and versatile set of cloud communications and collaboration solutions to even more businesses.

“We look forward to providing more of the industry’s top-producing telecom sales agents, IT solution providers, VARs, MSPs, and integrators with a single source for these hybrid work-ready solutions, and making it easy for them to grab more than their fair share of the cloud communications solutions space.”

Intermedia is an all-in-one cloud communications and collaboration solutions provider that it believes makes it easier to manage and integrate and sets itself apart from companies targeting specific comms and collaboration areas.

The cloud comms provider views this partnership with Intelisys as a “significant step in Intermedia’s partner network expansion”.

Intermedia has made similar strategic partnerships before, such as with NEC to sell its contact centre, collaboration, and cloud solutions.
