Kurmi has released Kurmi Provisioning Suite Version 7.8 to ease deployments and management of unified communications technologies from Microsoft, Cisco, and Avaya.
The new automated provisioning features added to its UC and CC management solution have been designed to work across multi-platform environments for large organisations.
This edition of the Kurmi Provisioning Suite is now generally available to all of Kurmi’s channel, enterprise, and service provider partners.
Micah Singer, CEO of Kurmi Software, said: “Provisioning UC platforms at scale is complex and quite time-consuming for large enterprises.
“More than ever, companies need agility to build and manage their important UC infrastructure – even more so if they use multiple technology vendors.”
The new software is available as a dedicated on-prem installation for high-security setups or via Kurmi as a Service (KaaS).
Here is a rundown of some of the new features delivered by Kurmi Provisioning Suite Version 7.8.
Microsoft updates: A Graph API connector has been added to Kurmi’s PowerShell connector. Microsoft Teams provisioning has been extended to include user groups to Azure Active Directory, Hosted SBC, Emergency Location, and Caller ID Policy.
Cisco updates: Organisation-wide management capabilities of Cisco Webex Calling Multi-Tenant has been added, primarily for managed service providers. There is also an increase of IM&P, CUCM, HCS, and UCCX integration connectors with features to simplify the management of Cisco Unity Caller Input and CUCM Intercom Route Partition, plus CCS.
Avaya updates: A new single pane of glass interface has been added to help manage Avaya’s unified communications and contact centres. Avaya Messaging, formerly Avaya IX Messaging, is now supported.
Singer continued: “Our latest version of the Kurmi Provisioning Suite complements the software tools used today by dozens of service providers and hundreds of enterprises to simplify and automate these cumbersome tasks.
“In particular, we are excited about bringing our Avaya connector current with all components, expanding support for the multi-option approach with our partner, Cisco, and enhancing integration with Microsoft Teams to stay up to date with their rapidly moving development cycle.”
Kurmi describes its work over the past ten years as “building the industry’s most flexible and scalable UC provisioning solution to simplify management of the world’s largest and most complex corporate environments”.
Its latest edition, Version 7.8, is another step along this path, providing faster and easier deployment of devices, services, and applications for end-users of either Microsoft, Cisco, or Avaya.
Last month, Kurmi appointed a new CEO, Micah Singer, in a move which revealed its plans for international expansion.
Singer founded VoIP Logic, and he has a background in commercialising telecom solutions and expanding them into the international marketplace.
Kurmi recently took part in a UC Today round table discussion centred around managing Teams in multi-vendor environments.
