Business communications provider, PGi, recently announced that its board of directors had named Rich Mace the CEO for the brand. Mace is a proven leader in the technology industry, with more than 30 years of experience in his field.

Rick Mace will be taking over from Don Joos, who will now be acting as CEO at TPx Communications. Both PGi and TPx Communications are companies within the Siris Capital Group.

Mace is an accomplished executive, with years of insight into the telecommunications industry to offer. Over the years, he has held a number of senior rules, including various leadership positions as CEO. The breadth of Mace’s experience makes him an excellent choice for PGi’s team as the company progresses towards further digital transformation.

Leading PGi Into the Future

Rick Mace has been an executive partner with Siris since 2011, serving on the board of directors for various Siris companies, including Digital River, and TNS.

In recent years, Don Joos has played a critical role in advancing PGi’s mission to empower businesses and people to collaborate and connect. He has been a crucial in positioning the company for future success. As PGi moves to the next stage of its transformation, the company is looking forward to benefiting from Rick’s fantastic leadership and expertise.

Executive Chairman, Hubert de Pesquidoux, the team thanks Don for his amazing contributions and appreciate his continued support as he and Rick continue to work together for a seamless transition.

Mr. Mace spoke out about his new role, saying that he was honored to be appointed to such a critical position during a transformative time for PGi. According to Rick, he will be focused first and foremost on supporting PGi customers and users, while driving improvements in customer quality and experience.

Mace said that he looks forward to working with the PGi leadership team and exploring new opportunities to bring PGi’s collaboration and event solutions to market, to help businesses communicate and connect wherever they are.

Don Joos also commented on the change, saying that it had been a privilege to support PGi over the last two years. Don noted that he is excited about the future of PGi as a company and believes that it’s in a great position to serve remote collaboration trends for customers. This is particularly valuable at a time when organisations are looking to drive new work from home models.
