Patrick was joined by special guest Tony Martino who is the CEO of Tollring.

Firstly Tony takes us through the last 12 months at Tollring, explaining about their growth in terms of staff numbers and revenue. Tollring have now grown to 84 staff globally.

Tollring are investing heavily not only in new talent in the form of people, but also in the research and development of their platforms.

“I think without that investment there is no way you could plan to properly grow the business.”

As well as investments Tollring have also achieved some strategic partnerships within the industry to further boost their expansion.

Patrick and Tony then move on to discuss the impact that emerging trends are having on Tollring. Tony explains that the rapid rise in adoption of cloud platforms has been a critical focus for them to further enhance their offering to service providers.

“Being able to deliver cloud services with security in mind is a very important element.”

2018 has also been the year of GDPR and partly due to that there has been an enhanced focus on security and compliance, an area that Tolling specialise in. As well as GDPR shifts in work habits, including the rise of remote and disparate working, are revolutionising the requirements for organisations when it comes to analysis.

Finally Tony explains that the next 12 months will be crucial to Tollring in terms of development. Expanding the features and functions of their platforms with the use of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) will be a huge focus.
