Vodia, one of the market leaders in award-winning VoIP and PBX solutions, have announced a new solution for the collaboration landscape. For years, Vodia has helped to lead the VoIP world in forward-thinking audio technology, with multi-tenancy platforms for clients. Now, the company has also chosen to partner with leading collaboration tool, Microsoft Teams.
The new integration will allow for Microsoft Teams and Vodia extensions to communicate seamlessly with one another. What’s more, customers on Microsoft Teams will be able to belong to both agent groups and hunt groups. Vodia’s integration with Microsoft Teams will also allow MS Teams members to make and receive calls through the Vodia PBX.
Employees who don’t need to utilize the Microsoft Teams technology can still have their own registered SIP phone, making it possible to contact those individuals from a Teams extension, using the direct routing technology.
Adding New Functionality to the Vodia Environment
Vodia has been a pioneer in the VoIP environment for some time now, offering a wide selection of products and services, including Vodia IOP, Vodia IO, and hosted PBX or single-tenant software. Additionally, the Vodia landscape is compatible with a wide selection of technologies, including APIs, softphones, and desk phones.
According to the VP of Partner Management for Vodia, Jared Blake, with the current global virus pandemic forcing countless companies to work differently, it’s now more important than ever for teams to be able to communicate and collaborate in a flexible environment. Vodia has recognised the emerging demand for collaboration technology and believes that the demand for these tools will continue even after the pandemic is over.
