Global cloud communications provider, Vonage recently announced the arrival of two new C-Suite members to their team. Jay Bellissimo and Stephen Lasher will be joining the crew to help drive Vonage to the next step in its success.
Jay Bellissimo will be taking the role of Chief Operating Officer (pictured above, left), reporting to Rory Read (CEO). As COO, Bellissimo will be responsible for global sales and operations, including Vonage’s go-to-market strategy across its UC, API, and Contact Centre solutions.
Stephen Lasher is taking the role of Chief Financial Officer (pictured above, right), where he’ll be responsible for handling strategic investments and managing financial plans that help to make Vonage stronger and more innovative than ever.
An Exciting Update for the Vonage Team
CEO, Rory Read for Vonage, commented on the decision to hire the two new C-Suite executives, saying he’s delighted to welcome them both to the team. Jay is a recognised leader in business transformation and strategy, with extensive knowledge of AI, cloud, and SaaS technology. Rory believes he will play a crucial role in helping Vonage to make next-gen communications more flexible and powerful.
Bellissimo comes to Vonage from IBM, where he worked as General Manager for the Federal and Public US market. Jay has a full 30 years of experience in the technology industry, and he has taken the lead on numerous strategies designed to support business transformation and growth. According to Bellissimo, Vonage is perfectly positioned to address the shifting business landscape and the rising demand for digital transformation. There’s an ongoing opportunity for Vonage to build its portfolio and deliver even greater customer experiences going forward.
Rory Read further welcomed Stephen to the team, commending his deep knowledge of technology and software, as well as his expertise in finance. Rory noted that Stephen will make a significant impact on the company’s ability to drive innovation in the communication world.
