VOSS Manages Great Momentum with Their Transition Process

VOSS Solutions recently announced the ongoing success of their "H.O.M.E" or HCS Open Management Evolution strategy for Cisco HCS partners.

VOSS transition process momentum

Voss SolutionsVOSS Solutions, a company dedicated to improving unified communication management, recently updated the UC world on the success of their H.O.M.E programme. The HCS Open Management Evolution (H.O.M.E.) setup is an initiative designed to help Cisco HCS partners move from Cisco Unified Communications Domain Manager to the VOSS-4-UC service.

The first update into the H.O.M.E programme's success emerged in November of last year when VOSS told the community that they had completed the transition process with three global service providers. Now, the H.O.M.E project continues to drive forward with phenomenal results, with 33% of organisations using the Cisco UC platform choosing to switch to VOSS-4-UC.

Results of the H.O.M.E Strategy So Far

According to the CEO of VOSS Solutions, Mike Frayne, today's HCS partners are on the hunt for a solution that will allow them to access enhanced features with minimal risk. VOSS believes that they can help HCS partners to maintain and improve end-user experiences, with an OPA strategy that delivers the extra benefits the current market needs, while managing any threats around security and privacy.

Thanks to the obvious popularity of the HCS Open Management Evolution programme, VOSS has already helped 500,000 end-user devices switch from CUCDM to management through VOSS-4-UC. Currently, there are transition plans in place to move around 42% of all the production HCS end-user devices to VOSS-4-UC platforms.

One of the biggest reasons that companies have chosen to switch to VOSS-4-UC over other vendors is that it allows them the chance to access greater business continuity. HCS partners following the H.O.M.E procedure consider the transition into a VOSS-4-UC strategy to feel a lot like an "evolution" in comparison to the worrying rip-and-replace strategies of some vendors.

What to Expect from the VOSS H.O.M.E Experience

The Product Manager for H.O.M.E at VOSS Solutions, Van Hammond noted that organisations taking the HCS Open Management Evolution approach will be able to rely on VOSS-4-UC to give them all the functionality they'd expect from CUCDM, combined with additional features, like coordination for Spark Hybrid, better data mining, stronger reporting and improved troubleshooting solutions with VOSS Analytics. There's also a customisable UC management service to help ensure that your system aligns fully with your operational processes and back-end systems.

Mike Frayne said in a press release that the company is thrilled to be working alongside crucial HCS partners in the move towards the VOSS-4-UC platform. He believes that the ability VOSS has to carry out transitions so quickly and effectively acts as a testament to their knowledge of the service provider space and their industry-leading technology.
