Presenter Patrick brings you the latest news update from 2019. The UC Today News Update will bring you regular videos summarising the biggest stories from the worlds of unified communications, collaboration and customer experience.

Firstly we examine the increased speculation surrounding Avaya. More rumours have emerged this month linking Mitel, and its owners Searchlight Capital Partners, with an acquisition offer.

Zoom are next in this month's roundup as we review its IPO launch and try to analyse why it has been so successful. Following the Zoom IPO we then look at Slack and its potential launch later this year.

Finally we examine the latest news from Google and Facebook. Facebook has just had its F8 conference and there were several announcements relating to the unified communications industry. Also Google Voice is still looming on the horizon and there are some indicators that Google might be heightening its efforts in the market.
