'Within Reach', a holding company for several high-value labels like Voiceworks, Centile, and Swyx, recently announced its decision to build on its communications and IT portfolio. With an aim to improve its position in the Dutch telecoms and business IT market, Within Reach will be purchasing Crystal Networks, a fast-growing communications provider offering services like internet, IT, WiFi, networking, installation and service, hardware and mobile telephony.
Supported by the investment brand Waterland, Within Reach is passionate about investing in innovative and inspiring European telecoms companies like Crystal Networks. The holding company believes that Crystal Networks is an exciting and ambitious young brand with plenty of experience offering today's customers the latest tools in the field of IT and telephony. Given the shifting nature of the telecoms market (from conventional to IT-based), Crystal Networks is a fantastic new asset for Within Reach's growth strategy. Within Reach hopes that the new investment will help it to achieve its goal of becoming the largest player in the European UC market.
Building a Powerful Path to the Future
Crystal Networks is going to merge with Eazit, a business communications company in Holland that was purchased by Within Reach last Spring (April 2018). Going forward, the Crystal Networks brand will operate under the Eazit name, although the customers within Crystal Networks' portfolio will maintain the same services that they already access from the company. The current Director of Crystal Networks, Edwin van Buren will be the new CEO going forward.
With a strong management team made up of experts from both Crystal Networks and Eazit, Van Buren will lead the two companies in a combined strategy for serving modern companies. According to Edwin, the acquisition of Crystal Networks and Eazit were two essential steps forward for the Within Reach brands. The two businesses complement each other very well, both in terms of service offered and professional expertise.
