Zoom and Avaya have partnered to deliver advanced collaboration to global businesses.
Integral to the strategic partnership, Avaya has chosen Zoom Workplace, its newly announced AI-powered collaboration platform, to integrate with its Communication & Collaboration Suite. This integration will offer customers a streamlined solution for managing their communications environments and workflows.
Alan Masarek, CEO of Avaya, commented:
Today’s enterprises are seeking to benefit from the latest AI-powered innovations to help differentiate, accelerate, and grow, all while integrating new levels of performance with minimal disruption to existing core systems. By partnering with Zoom, we can deliver on the promise of ‘innovation without disruption’ for Avaya customers, providing added value to enterprises through world-class collaboration experiences within the Avaya platform."
Avaya will also provide the integrated Zoom Workplace solution to its customer base, enhancing collaboration experiences for its large enterprise customers. Avaya customers can leverage their investments in Avaya's private cloud and on-premise solutions while utilising Zoom's user experience and interface for their collaboration requirements, adding value to their existing setups.
“Zoom was built to offer a sophisticated yet easy-to-use product, and as Zoom has expanded to include hundreds more products and features, as well as generative AI integrated throughout, delivering an exceptional user experience is still core to who we are and something we continue to invest heavily in,” said Eric S. Yuan, Zoom founder and CEO.
The Zoom and Avaya integration allows users to leverage Zoom Workplace alongside their existing Avaya Communication & Collaboration Suite investments, maintaining customisations and workflows.
Avaya customers will also gain access to Zoom AI Companion, a digital assistant that boosts productivity. The collaboration includes solutions like Zoom Team Chat, Scheduler, Whiteboard, and flexible spaces, providing a comprehensive suite of tools to improve teamwork. The joint solution is set to roll out globally in the coming months, promising an enhanced collaboration experience for Avaya users.
