Zoom's investment arm, Ventures, has confirmed a significant investment in the healthcare AI business Suki, progressing the collaboration giant's ambitions to develop a Workplace for Clinicians.
The investment expands upon Zoom and AI healthcare collaboration business Suki's partnership, which was announced in October. The partnership entails the integration of AI-driven clinical notes into Zoom’s Workplace for Clinicians offering, which is tailored to improving user experience and patient care.
Suki will join Zoom Ventures’ growing AI investment portfolio, which includes AI companies like Anthropic and CoreWeave. Following its $70 million Series D funding round announced in October, Suki has raised a total of $168 million to date.

Zoom isn't the only collaboration colossus Suki has partnered with recently as it continues to expand at an accelerated rate. Last month, the company unveiled a partnership with Google, which Suki says further establishes it as the industry’s first end-to-end clinical AI assistant.
By utilising Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform, Suki introduced new features, such as patient summaries and Q&A, to accelerate the clinical decision-making process and alleviate information overload for clinicians.
