ASC Technologies has started offering fully compliant call recording for Microsoft Teams Phone Mobile.
ASC's Recording Insights is a solution to meet the growing business demand for secure and compliant mobile communications. With Recording Insights, Teams Phone Mobile users can trust that their communication is fully compliant with the appropriate regulatory standards — such as GDPR, MiFID II, HIPAA, and PCI DSS — established by governmental and regulatory bodies across the globe.
Dr. Gerald Kromer, CEO of ASC Technologies, commented:
Microsoft Teams Phone Mobile is becoming a ubiquitous part of the modern mobile workforce. However, ensuring compliance in such an environment can be challenging. Fully integrated in the Microsoft Teams user interface, Recording Insights provides a truly unified user experience, allowing users to efficiently extend compliance to their mobile devices."
All communications across audio calls, video calls, or meetings made through Teams Phone Mobile are securely recorded and archived. This produces a critical resource for audits, dispute resolution and risk management. Recording Insights also enables communication data in over 90 languages to be transcribed and analysed through Microsoft Azure AI Services and Azure OpenAI Service.
"In an increasingly digital landscape, helping to ensure secure and compliant mobile communication has become paramount," added Celine Garbi Joergens, Hybrid Work Business Lead at Microsoft Germany. "By using Recording Insights, Microsoft Teams Phone Mobile users have the necessary tool to uphold and monitor their compliance protocols effectively and efficiently, regardless of their geographical locations."
Fully compliant and secure call recording is essential in today's landscape. ASC noted that, in September 2022, 16 Wall Street businesses were fined a combined $1.8 billion because employees discussed deals and trades on their personal devices and apps without recording the communications as was necessary. The consequences of such a severe data breach emphasise that using tools to catalogue communications compliantly is essential in hybrid work cultures.
