Five9 Announces Record-Breaking Q2
Leading cloud contact centre provider, Five9, recently announced its record-breaking performance for the second quarter. The company has seen a value increase of around 29%, equalling approximately $99.8 million in revenue. According to spokespeople from the team, much of this growth comes from the catalyst of COVID-19, and the role the pandemic is playing in pushing people towards the cloud.
Five0 also announced a series of product additions and updates to support the companies making the transition into cloud contact centre environments. Updated tools include conversational artificial intelligence support from the Five9 virtual agent. You can also access new solutions for workflow automation and optimization. Check out the news here.
Staying Ahead of Demand with Google
Speaking of companies that are continuing to thrive during the pandemic, Google recently published a blog post on its efforts in the COVID-19 world. According to Google, the influx of new demand for cloud-based solutions had the potential to be a significant challenge for the team. However, by staying one step ahead of the curve, Google made sure it could adhere to the needs of its audience.
The SRE team for Google Meet jumped into action immediately, improving everything from capacity, to control options and dependency requirements. Google also explored various new opportunities to expand regional availability and update what teams could expect from Meet.
