Based in Cheshire, ICT and telecoms provider, Chess, recently acquired the cyber-security business "Foursys". The company was recently named the top UK education partner for Sophos, and is predicted to add around £11m in turnover to Chess's current economic standing, bringing their run-rate up to over £120 million.
Located in Suffolk, the team of experts in Foursys offer service across the United Kingdom, with more than two decades of experience when it comes to delivering cyber-security consultancy solutions to corporate sectors, SMBs, public sector solutions, and organisations.
Chess already offers services to the masses, including product installation and supply, storage, hosted and cloud-based solutions, network infrastructure, managed services, business continuity, professional services, and unified communication system management. The most recent addition is no doubt a perfect fit for Chess' current portfolio.
New Growth for Chess
According to the chief executive and founder of Chess, David Pollock, cyber security represents an obvious and significant concern for most modern businesses. Chess believes that Foursys shares their passion when it comes to creating and delivering a range of technological advantages to the modern consumer. They feel that the latest acquisition should enhance their security offering for customers.
Thanks to the security expertise offered by Foursys, Chess believes that they should have both the skills and technology required to deliver more comprehensive and integrated solutions for company development across a range of cloud, mobile, and enterprise-level environments.
