The world is evolving at a rapid pace. Companies are preparing for a new environment, where “the new normal” promises all businesses will need to transform.

Fortunately, solutions for better collaboration and communication among remote teams are emerging to address our most common challenges. Collaboration Squared, a company dedicated to creating better team experiences, recently produced an always-on video conferencing portal named Video Window, to launch companies into a new future.

Video Window is a platform that basically extends physical space for remote and in-office collaboration. This immersive life-sized solution comes with various fun features. You can tap on a screen to grab the attention of someone on the other side. Starting meetings is as simple as just clicking a button, and there’s no awkward set-up.

Improving Employee Connections

The Video Window from Collaboration Squared aims to improve the connections between in-office and remote employees. The solution connects multiple areas, making it feel as though people located across the globe are sitting in the same office space. Usually, teams install the window on large 55-inch displays that sit in either landscape or portrait mode.

You set your working hours to create your unique always-on experience. Plus, audio remains off by default, which means that you don’t have to worry about privacy and distraction issues. To make security even better, the Video Window ensures that you can only talk with devices and people connected to your specific group. Only authenticated users can join a session.

Co-founder of Collaboration Squared, Stephen Sevastopulo, said that companies are entering a time when countries are gradually relaxing lockdown rules in different ways. There’s a good chance that we’ll have a hybrid environment, with employees both at home and in the office going forward. Video Window will help to bridge the gap here.

Creating a New Collaboration Experience

Co-Founder of Collaboration Squared, Daryl Hutchings, said that unlike traditional solutions for video conferencing, Video Window makes people feel like they’re genuinely in the same place. Now that employees have had to work from home, we all understand how important it is to maintain authentic human connections. The goal with Video Window is to eliminate feelings of isolation and encourage more spontaneous collaboration.

Both the Video Window Remote solution and Video Window Office are available from Collaboration Squared now. You can also get up to 10 licenses for free per company for a limited time. Collaboration Squared believes that solving issues with remote teams is just the beginning of what could be accomplished with this new technology. The Video Window system provides companies with lots of ways to extend the physical office space.

Now that remote working and video conferencing are both a more natural part of our working lives, Video Window offers a unique way for businesses to evolve.
