As the crowds wind down in San Francisco, it's the perfect opportunity to reflect on the key announcements we've heard from RingCentral over the last few days. It's been a hectic few days full of more technical sessions than ever and some great insight from guest speakers such as Reshma Saujani, Girls Who Code and Malcolm Gladwell, The Tipping Point, Blink and Outliers.
Here's a rundown of the key announcements for customers that couldn't make the conference, or perhaps didn't get a chance to attend every session they planned to.
Dimelo becomes RingCentral Engage
Following the acquisition of Dimelo, RingCentral confirmed the formal launch of RingCentral Engage. The Dimelo product naturally becomes an integral part of the product suite with its digital customer experience capabilities. Multiple demos, integrating into voice, video, messaging and social media, were displayed throughout the conference.

Three pronged mobile app
With a key theme on day one that of unifying employee engagement and customer engagement, the new unified mobile app features all of voice, video and team messaging within one unique interface. Recognising today’s modern worker uses an average of four communications apps and 66 percent of them want a single communications platform, RingCentral are pioneering the business communication experience by wrapping all mediums into one unified experience.
As well as wrapping the peer to peer functionalities together, the meeting experience is baked into the app. Associated voice, video and messaging benefits are joined by users being able to schedule and join video and screen sharing meetings using a one-touch-to-join approach.
AI voice analytics
RingCentral annoinced their new conversational intelligence features thanks to their partnerships with Gong.io, ThetaLake, and Velvetech.
