Crestron has announced the availability of Crestron Control for Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows operating systems.
Microsoft Teams users are gaining new room controls for their unified communications systems (UC) to enable in-room meeting and presentation automation.
The video conferencing solutions provider has already integrated Crestron Control with Zoom Rooms, Cisco Webex, and Google Meet, meaning it has accumulated a comprehensive range of some of the biggest UC platforms in the industry.
Brad Hintze, EVP of Global Marketing at Crestron, shared his support for Crestron Control: “Control is where Crestron got started, and we pride ourselves on the strength of that legacy.
This expansion is an impactful move that grants more choices for our customers to deliver a better experience in these spaces by leveraging the strength of Crestron Control for today’s meetings.”
Crestron Control Features
Access to Crestron Control was initially available via its Crestron Flex solutions and required the use of two separate devices.
Now, it has been condensed into a single interface, which helps to reduce table clutter and make Crestron’s room controller technology more accessible to users.
According to Crestron, the control page integrates “seamlessly” with each UC platform so that users can effortlessly switch between meeting controls and room controls.
Crestron Construct allows the control graphical user interface (GUI) to match the standard platform interface, offering users a familiar interface within a single device.
Customers can choose from a selection of major UC platform providers and an entirely different hardware manufacturer and still access Crestron Control.
Crestron has experience in managing spaces from small huddle rooms to mission-critical rooms. Such flexibility has now grown into an array of interface options through which its controls can be deployed.
