Envoy has released a host of updates to its platform designed to make hybrid working simpler.
New features and an app are designed to make the process simpler and more efficient for employees.
Updates affecting employees and admins include favourites, profile photos, recurring schedules, and desk amenities.
For workplace teams and admins, it is now possible to reserve desks on behalf of others, and admins can automatically allocate seating or invite groups.
The vaccination status of visitors can also be shown by uploading photo evidence to Envoy’s mobile app.
According to Envoy’s press release: “Envoy’s workplace platform solves the problems of flexible workplaces. It streamlines the day-to-day processes that can get in the way of great work and community building.
“The platform also brings all the services Envoy has to offer together in one place, managed through a single dashboard.
“Through the mobile app, employees can coordinate schedules with co-workers. They can book desks and meeting rooms and receive notifications of visitors and deliveries. Employees can also navigate the workspace, upload Covid vaccination and test results, and more.”
Envoy’s announcement references the recent At Work trends report, which found workplace traffic has increased by four times since May 2020.
Although the report finds nearly half of workers are looking forward to collaborating in person, it could be problematic without effective hot-desking management.
Key updates affecting workplace teams and admins include favourites which enable users to prioritise the colleagues they want to work with through the Envoy app. It allows them to see when they are in the office, where they are sitting, receive notifications of their working movements, and more.
