Extron has unveiled two new automated display power controllers suitable for workspaces of any size.
The WC Pro 150 OCS and WC Pro 160 Workspace Automation Controllers are built to introduce simple, secure display control and automation to workspaces of all scales.
Depending on a user's selected model, they can enjoy automatic display control through an occupancy sensor, either integrated into the workspace controller or seamlessly added to a simplified room automation system. Upon entering a room, the automation controllers power on the display via CEC and turn it off when no motion is detected at the end of the meeting.
Casey Hall, Chief Marketing Officer at Extron, said:
Our WC Pro Series is another way Extron is adding the benefits of automation to today's workspaces. These compact, integration-friendly controllers are perfect for any space where you'd like convenient display power control."
Configuration for automatic display control is easily managed via the built-in web page, supporting Ethernet, RS-232, or IR connections. Both models also offer Power over Ethernet for added convenience.
Users looking to configure these automation controllers with Global Configurator Plus or Professional can enhance control capabilities by adding a LinkLicense for the WC Pro Control Processor. This expands control capabilities to multiple displays and devices while providing access to the full line of TouchLink Pro touchpanels and Network Button Panels for projects requiring a user interface.
Once the LinkLicense for WC Pro Control Processor is applied, users can also add the LinkLicense for User Interfaces, enabling easy control using mobile devices or computers. With Extron's new Workspace Automation Controllers, users can seamlessly add convenient display control and automation to any workspace.
