Gamma, a leading supplier of UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) solutions throughout the UK, Spanish, Dutch, and German markets, recently announced the promotion of a new executive. The technology-based provider of communication solutions is celebrating Andy Smethurst’s new position in the team. Andy will be taking on the role of Channels Sales Director – a position which has only just appeared in the Gamma company.
Andy joined Gamm during 2004 and has been working his way up the ranks ever since. Before his promotion to the new Channel Sales Director role, Andy was involved with the growth of many of Gamma’s glocal sales teams. This position followed a period of being responsible for the growth of various channel partners for Gamma, through a position as Account Director.
The New Role as Channel Sales Director
The New Channel Sales Director position that Andy will be taking going forward will concentrate on leading the sales team within Gamma, to deliver new products into the market. Andy will be focusing on creating solutions for the channel space, and he will continue to assist the Gamma brand in building on the success already achieved by Gamma and existing partners.
Commenting on his exciting new promotion, Andy noted that he has been working with Gamma for over 17 years now and feels extremely proud to be taking this new step. Smethurst is thrilled to have an opportunity to lead the impeccable Gamma sales team, and he noted that the team is fantastic at Gamma, full of great talent and passion.
Andy is looking forward to helping others in the Gamma community continue with their career development.
