GDPR Compliance Programme Launched by Bridewell & Maximizer

Leading CRM solutions provider Maximizer Software, and information security specialist Bridewell Consulting are partnering to launch a GDPR compliance programme.

Bridewell and Maximizer GDPR compliance

Leading CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solution provider, Maximizer Software recently teamed up with security experts Bridewell Consulting to launch their GDPR compliance programme. The General Data Protection Regulation scheme will help channel partners, customers, and SMEs to fully understand and embrace their responsibilities in a new age of data protection.

Over the last year, Maximizer has worked with Bridewell on its own journey towards compliance and has now implemented measures to ensure that all personal data on suppliers, employees, prospects, customers, and partners is GDPR compliant. Based on this successful process, the two companies decided to work together to establish a 12-step programme to guide SMEs through the stages associated with GDPR compliance - starting with a data audit.

Helping SMEs Strategize for GDPR

The Maximizer and Bridewell programme includes a complete toolkit for companies to use when making their organisation GDPR-ready. According to the EMEA Managing Director for Maximizer, Mike Richardson, the specialist consultancy strategy should help smaller companies to handle the overwhelming concept of GDPR compliance.

As Customer Relationship Management experts, Maximizer believes they have a duty to help their channel partners and customers achieve the highest standards in data protection and management. The company will also be working with consumers to make sure that they're taking advantage of the out-of-the-box features in Maximizer CRM that support compliance. The CRM software includes customisable tools like reports and dashboards, as well as indexing, documentation, and data auditing features.

According to Richardson, technology is only the first aspect of GDPR compliance, and Maximizer feels that companies should have help to implement the values of data protection, accountability, and transparency into every aspect of their business culture.

The Looming GDPR Deadline

According to a Partner for Bridewell Consulting, Anthony Young, most businesses recognise the fact that they're unlikely to be compliant with GDPR standards by the 25th of May. However, companies can set the wheels in motion with the right support and reduce their chances of falling victim to a potentially company-destroying fine.

Young believes that the programme created with Maximizer is well-suited to the SMB market, who need additional help to make sure that they can apply the principles of GPDR into their policies and procedures. Together, Maximizer and Bridewell hope to satisfy the organisational and technical measures that have been called for by the GDPR standards - leading to more authentic, stronger relationships between employees and customers.
