IMImobile, a global communications company, has announced a new partnership with the leading network software provider, Mavenir. The new collaboration marks part of IMImobile's RCS business messaging strategy. Through collaboration with Mavenir, IMImobile believes that it will be able to drive faster adoption of the new immersive channel. Mavenir and IMImobile will be working together with global operator customers worldwide, integrated RCS technologies and a shared vision on driving fast adoption of the platform.
RCS is an evolution of the mobile messaging environment, offering an upgrade from SMS on a global scale that allows businesses to deliver more engaging interactions. RCS removes the requirement for customers to download a range of different apps. Users can instead communicate directly with businesses within the messaging app. This means that users can engage with virtual assistants to buy items, confirm reservations and more. According to the GSMA, RCS has been launched by around 81 operators worldwide, with a forecast for an additional 27 launches by 2020 Q1

New innovations allow Mavenir to drive better flexibility, agility, and velocity for customers. Working with IMImobile enable Mavenir to continue meeting the growing demand from customers and companies for RCS.
IMImobile's CPaaS solution currently enables businesses to intelligent manage, create and automate their customer communications strategies across a host of channels. Earlier in 2019, IMImobile also announced the release of the new RCS messaging API. The API combined with the low-code tools available from IMIconnect and the visual workflow builder allows enterprises to launch RC messaging journeys at scale. Mavenir will be leveraging the new communication orchestration solutions and the IMImobile AI software to create automated customer journeys.
