Merger and acquisition news takes the forefront of this month's roundup as Patrick covers two stories that have emerged. Firstly we look at Enghouse Interactive's acquisition of Vidyo for $40 million dollars and then at GCI who purchased the Microsoft collaboration specialist Modality Systems.
We then move on to take a look at two stories from Google. Firstly the launch of the latest iteration of Google Glass, “Google Glass Enterprise Edition 2" and then the outage which saw huge swathes of the internet go down on the 2nd of June.
Finally Patrick reiterates some news from UC EXPO, where Cisco announced that new Webex Calling features will shortly be available to buy directly from them online through Webex.com. The news appears to contravene with Cisco's usual partner model so reaction from the industry will be key.
