Lifesize has launched Lifesize Connect Plus, which facilitates hybrid video meetings from a single computing device.
The new Device Software Subscription (DDS) feature provides advanced functionality and support for its 4K Lifesize Cloud Room hardware, building on the capabilities of Lifesize Connect.
The solution enables the Icon 300/500/700 conferencing hardware series to connect to Microsoft Teams or Zoom without needing a second device such as a laptop or tablet.

Trent Waterhouse, CEO of Lifesize, said: “Hybrid work environments are here to stay, as businesses continue to embrace flexible work options.
“Lifesize recognizes work is no longer a place. Our technology makes it easy for people to work together, whether at home or in the office.”
Additional benefits of the feature, outlined by Lifesize, include support being available for Linux desktop apps from a selection of providers and the Lifesize 4K meeting experience.
The feature does not require existing Lifesize hardware to be replaced.
The Device Software Subscription (DDS) upgrade is available for existing Lifesize customers, adding multivendor connectivity to their platforms.
