Leading cloud and managed service brand, Maintel, recently announced the launch of its new "Insight Secure" service for cybersecurity. Insight Secure is an immersive suite of security and consultancy services that offer businesses the intelligence they need to protect valuable data. The solution can also aid with the planning and development of cybersecurity management strategies. The end-to-end service provides a holistic approach, with Maintel's team of Certified Threat Intelligence experts assessing cybersecurity issues and offering in-depth advice. There's also staff awareness training available to educate employees when it comes to essential security procedures.
Providing Better Security Support
Today, security and compliance remain to be critical considerations for businesses of all sizes, from every industry. According to the 2019 Cyber Security Breaches Survey, around 32% of companies have experienced an attack or breach over the last 12 months. The latest research found that assaults were particularly high in the medium to large-sized businesses that were surveyed. However, that doesn't mean that small businesses can afford to ignore their security strategy either.
With less budget available to invest in security and privacy solutions, and a lack of skills or in-house expertise required to identify security solutions, small businesses are at risk too. Many of the respondents in the Cyber Security Breaches Survey said that they feel as though they could be doing more to keep themselves safe. However, these respondents weren't sure how to proceed.
The CTO for Maintel, Rufus Grig, said that it's impossible for companies to secure what they don't understand. Businesses need to be able to identify security vulnerabilities before they're found by attackers and criminals. Maintel is always working to provide peace of mind to businesses, by working with them to understand their infrastructure, business, and technology needs. This means that Maintel can offer actionable recommendations based on budget and best practices.
