Maintel Expands UK Partnership with RingCentral

Maintel’s RingCentral deal on a £5bn public sector framework could replace legacy comms with RingCentral Office and Callmedia CX NOW. Published on UC Today.

Maintel and RingCentral UK partnership expansion

Maintel has expanded its UK partnership with RingCentral via a huge £5bn public sector framework.

The comms VAR was awarded spots in 10 Lots of Network Services 2, initially offering its own services. The partnership with RingCentral will see it now resell RingCentral Office via the framework.

Customers will also have the option of integrating Maintel’s Callmedia CX NOW contact centre solution with the RingCentral offering, Maintel said.

Ioan MacRae, Chief Executive Officer at Maintel, said: “We’ve helped more than 300 public sector organisations to address the growing need for digital transformation and collaborative communications, covering hundreds of thousands of employees.

“By extending our partnership with RingCentral, we can now deliver advanced communications solutions to the UK public sector”

Many public sector organisations are using a variety of legacy systems to communicate with colleagues and citizens and share files, but the use of these disparate solutions makes it difficult for employees to get work done.

“By deploying an all-in-one solution, we can ensure that people working in the public sector can communicate and collaborate easier than ever before, and on any device.”

As part of the collaboration, Maintel will implement and support the RingCentral Office-based implementations across mobile devices, soft clients and attendant consoles.

Tony McNish, Regional Vice President Channel Sales, UK & Ireland at RingCentral, said: “Today’s modern workforce needs the ability to communicate from anywhere using their preferred channels in order to stay connected and efficient.

“By extending our partnership with Maintel, public sector organisations will be able to benefit from a cloud-based communications solution that makes it simple for staff to message each other, ring each other, video call, or share files, without the need to ever switch apps.

“This partnership builds on our vision of providing enhanced communications solutions to companies that help their leaders optimise productivity within their organisation.”
