Microsoft has launched Bing Chat Enterprise, bringing its generative AI chat tool to businesses.
Bing Chat was previously already available in Microsoft Edge for consumers. Microsoft focused heavily on security when launching the tool.
In a joint blog post, Yusuf Mehdi, Corporate Vice President & Consumer Chief Marketing Officer, and Jared Spataro, CVP Modern Work & Business Applications, said: “Bing Chat Enterprise gives your organization AI-powered chat for work with commercial data protection.
“With Bing Chat Enterprise, user and business data are protected and will not leak outside the organization.
“What goes in — and comes out — remains protected. Chat data is not saved, and Microsoft has no eyes-on access – which means no one can view your data. And, your data is not used to train the models.
“Whether researching industry insights, analyzing data, or looking for inspiration, Bing Chat Enterprise gives people access to better answers, greater efficiency and new ways to be creative.”
Microsoft revealed Bing Chat at the same time it revealed Microsoft 365 Copilot will cost $30 per user per month.
