Neat Bar Pro with Neat Board, Beat Board 5O, and Neat Pad, as well as Neat Center with Microsoft Teams, are now being used at Edrington within its small, medium, and large meeting rooms.
Based in Glasgow, Scotland, Edrington is the owner of iconic whisky brands, including The Famous Grouse, Highland Park, The Macallan, Naked Malt, and The Glenrothes.
Calum Murray, Service Desk Analyst at Edrington, offered his review of Neat’s meeting room devices:
“Neat’s ‘beautifully simple’ slogan stood out. It was exactly what we were looking for, and I was surprised by how easy everything was. Now, we enter a room, and it just works. It’s very intuitive.
“There’s no faffing about with cables or anything else. You can jump directly into a meeting and stream content straight to the screen.
When I first show people a Neat Board in one of our rooms, I always get a ‘wow’ when I activate Symmetry and the camera equally divides the screen.”
Murray continued: “In IT, you don’t often get a lot of comments from people when things are working. It’s only when things go wrong that people voice an opinion.
“But several people, even from senior management, have stopped me to say thanks for making our meeting rooms so much better.”
The Neat Solution
According to the virtual meeting video device designer Neat, Edrington was searching for a simple and consistent solution to improve upon the “confusing and unreliable” solution it had previously implemented.
Edrington found out about Neat’s video devices via one of its trusted advisors and the UK’s audiovisual solutions experts, Nuvideo.
The whisky company’s IT guys, Murray and Clugston, were apparently "impressed" with the device, which also received "rave" employee feedback.
They decided, therefore, to implement various Neat devices across its organisation.
