AV equipment company Neat has announced the launch of a new Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solution Neat Select.
“We are excited to deliver Neat Select to support BYOD use cases, providing customers with exceptional video collaboration experiences plus the flexibility they need for today’s diverse workplaces,”
Neat said on twitter.
Designed with flexibility for video collaboration in mind, the feature allows users to connect their laptops and join meetings on the platform of their choice.
Neat Select, releasing in the first half of 2025, will be available for the Neat Bar and Neat Bar 2.
Neat Select and BYOD
Neat Select is a way for the company to continue to make their solutions adaptable in a world where work is now conducted over multiple, and even personal, devices.
As a result, the solution offers a simple plug-and-play experience, enabling users to connect their laptops to Neat Bar with an HDMI and USB-C cable, or to Neat Bar 2 with just a USB-C connection.
This aims to provide organisations with greater interoperability in their communication setups, as many users may have older computers or different brands that use other connections.
Neat Select supports multiple video conferencing platforms. This ensures businesses can continue to work efficiently without being restricted to one service provider.
Equally, Neat Select offers a solution that integrates seamlessly with Neat Pulse, Neat’s cloud-based management service, to allow IT teams to monitor and control devices remotely.
Additional Augmentation with Neat Products
With Neat Select, a key component of the offering is giving users more control.
Control not only in terms of BYOD but also over meeting features and capabilities.
Neat Select can be used on its own but can also be paired with Neat Pad.
