Patrick is joined by special guest Randall Lee Director, Strategic and Channel Marketing at Yamaha Unified Communications.

Firstly Randall explains more about the integration between the former Revolabs and Yamaha as a whole. He explains that there are a huge number of benefits that Yamaha Unified Communications can leverage.

"The synergy created by this move, both technical and market related, is really starting to show up in the products we deliver in the market and the services that we provide to our customer base."

Randall also tells Patrick about some of the new products that Yamaha Unified Communications have bought to market this year. He provides details on the YVC-200 which approaches conferencing from a unique perspective providing a portable solution to enable mobile and flexible working.

One of the major benefits of closer integration with Yamaha as a whole is the ability to offer bundles which include products from across each subsidiaries' portfolios. Randall also explains that Yamaha have made their first foray into the video communication space with the CS-700.

Another key area of focus for Yamaha Unified Communications is providing software agnostic endpoints, as Randall explains. With the huge range of software options available it is critical for Yamaha Unified Communications to be able to provide solutions that organisations can use with any of their platforms.

Randall also looks ahead to the future at Yamaha Unified Communications where they will be focusing on providing additional enhancements to their platforms and products by enabling ever closer integration with Yamaha as a whole. The depth and breadth of Yamaha's audio expertise in terms of innovation is incredibly exciting as the prospect of further new developments are on the horizon.
