Phonism by Inlayer and Cisco Webex have partnered to deliver smooth device management for businesses.
Phonism by Inlayer is now available via Cisco, enabling Webex customers to access seamless cloud migrations and robust third-party device support. Webex customers and partners can now access Phonism through Cisco SolutionsPlus, aspiring to make procurement and deployment easier by leveraging their existing Cisco partnership.
Greg DiFraia, Inlayer CEO, said:
Phonism by Inlayer's availability through Cisco marks a pivotal milestone in our growth journey. We're thrilled to offer a solution that provides unprecedented control, flexibility, and scalability for businesses during their cloud migration. Together, we're poised to redefine the future of device management!"
This integration aims to allow Cisco users to seamlessly incorporate Phonism's robust device management features, resulting in simplified deployment, faster onboarding, and centralised device oversight. By utilising Cisco's established procurement channels, Phonism by Inlayer stresses that customers benefit from an efficient, unified solution that manages both Cisco and non-Cisco devices within the Webex environment.
"Our partnership with Phonism will bring a new third-party device management solution to Webex Calling," added Amey Parandekar, VP of Product Management at Cisco. "This integration will provide customers with a secure and automated solution that enhances device deployment and migration and reduces the complexities of working with multiple vendors."
More Specifics On The Feature Set
Phonism's Partner Managed Devices solution aims to offer increased device options by extending support for both Cisco and non-Cisco SIP devices. This allows for seamless integration into Webex, encouraging flexibility across various hardware brands.
The solution also enables rapid migrations, which Phonism By Inlayer suggests accelerates the transition to Webex with a 100x reduction in time and costs. This minimises downtime and eliminates the need for on-site configuration.
Both companies outline that enhanced automation and management features allow for automated provisioning and bulk updates, which they say reduces labour costs by up to 95 percent and enables setup in seconds. Advanced remote management features, such as reset, reboot, and automated firmware deployments, aspire to further enhance the customer experience.
