RingCentral, a market leader in cloud communications solutions, recently announced a new partnership with Vodafone business. The strategic partnership between the mobile service provider and RingCentral aims to transform the way that business employees communicate and collaborate.

Now that business mobility is a crucial cornerstone of business success, RingCentral’s partnership with Vodafone hopes to bring worldwide enterprise customers the technology they need for video meetings, team messaging, enterprise-grade voice, and more. Together, the two companies will create a cloud-based and co-branded service that will be the leading UCaaS service for Vodafone service. The partnership will also offer Contact Centre as a Service to business customers.

Flexible Communications for the Enterprise

The new partnership combines Vodafone’ Business’s approach to mobile-first functionality, as well as the company’s incredible reach and scale, with RingCentral’s CCaaS and UCaaS knowledge. The newly created platform will deliver secure and flexible services available to customers of all sizes.

RingCentral and Vodafone Business will be working in collaboration on innovation, product roadmap decisions, go-to-market, and sales enablement. Both brands will be contributing resources to the future of the platform and leveraging RingCentral open APIs for integrations.

Vodafone Business CEO, Vinod Kumar, said that the partnership with RingCentral will enable customers to deploy and manage communication services that appeal to them at a pace that they choose. This marks another step forward in Vodafone’s quest to become a more platform-based business. With RingCentral, Vodafone believes it can transform the way teams work, and help companies become more productive.

The partnership with RingCentral will bring Vodafone’s global base of customers a scalable and quick-to-deploy cloud-based solution for communications, based on the leading Message Video Phone technology from RingCentral.

An Exciting Future for Vodafone

According to the agreement, Vodafone Business will be offering the integrated CCaaS and UCaaS functionalities from RingCentral to its customers, including the Engage Digital and Engage Voice products. Vodafone Business will be offering value-added services for adoption, migration, and integration, ensuring customers realise the full benefits of the products.

According to RingCentral COO and President, Anand Eswaran, the company is thrilled to be partnering with Vodafone, a leader in 5G and mobility, to enable a new work-from-anywhere future. As businesses depend more on mobility for business success, the connection between RingCentral and Vodafone will help to provide a new platform for the future of digital communications.

Vodafone Business and RingCentral will be initially introducing their new services to customers in the UK, and multi-national customers in Europe will access the functionalities in 2021. Further country rollouts will follow going forward.
