Samba Live Becomes Digital Samba Again

Samba Live rebrands as Digital Samba with new Meetings and Embedded products, plus revamped pricing for webinars and education.

Samba Live rebrands to Digital Samba

Samba Live has changed its name back to Digital Samba and added two products and a new pricing structure.

The products launched by the video conferencing software provider include Digital Samba for Meetings and Digital Samba Embedded.

The pricing structure for the company’s most popular products, Digital Samba for Webinars and Digital Samba for Education, has been completely revamped.

Robert Strobl, founder and CEO at Digital Samba, said:

“From today, we are returning to our roots. Samba Live will be known as Digital Samba.”

“This was our original company name and represented our founding principles.

“A fresh image and innovative new products will allow us to keep growing and improving our customers’ experience.

“We are grateful to have you with us for the exciting times ahead.”

New Product Releases

The new Meetings product is a video conferencing solution which is secure and GDPR-compliant. The company says it is suitable for remote teams of any size and budget.

The platform can be completely customised and includes a toolbox of interactive features.

Meetings plans begin at €9 per month, and white labelling, reseller licences and REST API are also available for bigger companies.

The ‘Embedded’ product will replace Samba Live OEM. Digital Samba’s WebRTC video and audio API enables developers to embed video calls into applications and websites using a minimal amount of HTML and CSS coding.

Pricing Plans

Embedded has two plans: Embedded Meetings and Embedded Webinars. The price plan for Embedded Meetings starts at €74 per month, and the price quote for Embedded Webinars can be obtained by contacting the company.

The pricing changes have been made more accessible by creating separate pricing structures for small, medium, and large organisations.

There are four pricing plans, which include Starter, Professional, Business, and Enterprise. Every plan will have collaboration features, such as breakout rooms, whiteboards, polls, and Q&A.

The entry price of Digital Samba for Webinars is €37 per month.

Digital Samba for Education, which is replacing Samba Live for Education, includes a scalable virtual classroom designed for both individuals and companies. ‘Education’ also has the four pricing plan categories of Starter, Professional, Business, and Enterprise.

The entry price for Digital Samba for Education is €11 per month.

Digital Samba

The Digital Samba video conferencing solution is designed to meet business communication and collaboration requirements. It can be used for meetings, webinars, application development, and more.

The solution includes a number of tools and features, including live streaming, breakout rooms, customisation options, virtual whiteboarding, event scheduling, and others. The company says its infrastructure, security, and data handling “ensure gold-standard safety and security”.

Digital Samba is a Spanish company with more than 19 years of operating in the video conferencing space.

The company’s customers include McDonald’s, Deloitte, Ferrari, and American Express.

Among Digital Samba’s achievements are receiving a commendation from UC Today’s Unified Communications Awards, G2 Best Support recognition, and SoftwareWorld “Top-Rated” Status.
