8x8’s combined unified comms and contact centre offering helped drive the vendor’s sales up by 22 percent in Q1.
Revenue for the period ending 30 June 2020 climbed to $148.3m, while annualised recurring revenue (ARR) was up 24 percent to $535.8m.
Dave Sipes (pictured), CEO at 8x8, said: “The first quarter of fiscal 2022 was a significant step forward in the plan I laid out last quarter.

8x8’s Experience-as-a-Service offering was launched in May this year and now accounts for one-third of the vendor’s ARR.
Sipes also highlighted the channel as being key to the sales growth, with channel sales up 35 percent year on year.
