IR has joined the Zoom ISV (Independent Software Vendors) Program which will improve collaboration, performance, and end-user experience.

The UCC performance management and analytics provider believes the association with Zoom will benefit large enterprises which require greater visibility and more detailed insights in their multi-vendor communications and collaboration systems.

The performance and experience solution, IR Collaborate, offers end-to-end visibility and insights into UCC and contact centre system.

John Ruthven, CEO and Managing Director, IR, said: “Many quality issues in communication and collaboration ecosystems originate from outside the collaboration platforms, but users of these tools feel its impact the most.

“IR Collaborate provides a single-pane-of-glass view of the ecosystem to enable IT teams to optimize the end-user experience.”

IR Collaborate adds visibility and insights to meeting rooms, networks and Session Border Controllers (SBCs), and personal audio and video devices

The company says it also adds value by simplifying troubleshooting using system visualisations.

Large enterprises usually deploy various collaboration tools from a number of vendors to 3meet their workplace communication requirements.

IR points to the Gartner Digital Worker Experience Survey, which found that nearly 80% of workers used collaboration tools in 2021, an increase from just over 50% in 2019.

Enterprises often allow workers to use personal audio and video devices, which adds to the complex system of devices.

The result, IR believes, is that IT teams need to gain visibility over these devices by implementing solutions such as IR Collaborate.

Mitch Ricks, ISV Integrator Leader, Zoom, said: “Zoom’s enterprise customers often operate complex IT ecosystems consisting of multiple technology vendors that require native monitoring tools for effective support and maintenance.

“Together, IR and Zoom simplify those complexities by providing a single robust solution for IT organizations.

“IR adds value to Zoom and Zoom enterprise customers by delivering end-to-end visibility across the IT multi-vendor ecosystems along with the Zoom UCaaS platform, which includes the workloads of Zoom Phone, Zoom Chat, Zoom Meetings, Zoom Webinars and Zoom Rooms.”

In 2021, IR added support for Zoom monitoring and troubleshooting, alongside its new collaboration suite of tools.

IR’s solutions have been adopted by some prominent companies. Last year, BT selected IR to manage, monitor, and present experiences for its UCC services.
