Spearline has announced the addition of four new countries to their service, upping their global coverage to 94% of the world’s GDP.

The call troubleshooters have welcomed the top two telecom providers from Croatia, Hong Kong, Norway and Slovenia so that businesses in those countries can take advantage of Spearline’s network testing solutions.

Spearline has coverage in over 70 countries around the world, covering more than 93.88% of GDP generation. As a result Spearline can take advantage of enhanced testing and monitoring capabilities through increasing its in-country points of presence (POPs) at the core of its business.

The in-country POPs allows businesses to replicate the exact experience their customers around the world are having, therefore making it easier to guarantee a standard of quality. Organizations can select the origin and termination countries that they wish to test, irrespective of their own location, which is especially important for toll-free numbers that otherwise could not be tested due to restrictions.

Each country in detail

Croatia

Telekom and A1 can now be tested through Spearline’s solution. Telekom holds approximately 46% of the market and A1 has approximately 35% market share. Calls will originate from, or terminate to Zagreb.

Hong Kong

In Hong Kong, CMHK (China Mobile Hong Kong) and HKT-CSL have been welcomed to the platform. Between these two providers, they have over 60% market share (CMHK: 32.1% and HKT: 29.5%). Calls will originate from and terminate to Hong Kong.

Norway

The mobile operators in Norway that have been added to Spearline’s solution are Telenor and Telia. Telenor holds approximately 48% of the market and Telia has approximately 36% market share. Calls will originate from, or terminate to Oslo.

Slovenia

Spearline customers can test Telekom Slovenia and A1. Telekom has approximately 38% of the market share and A1 has approximately 32%. Between them, they have approximately 70% of the overall mobile market in Slovenia covered. Calls will originate from, or terminate to Ljubljana.

Efficiency and Service

The addition of the four new countries to Spearline’s testing infrastructure has been made at the request of their customers. Customer satisfaction is at the heart of the Irish solution provider, enabling businesses to take any path the future may take them on, without being impeded by poor communications.

Last year, Spearline increased its global coverage by adding an additional 32 POPs, which has seen an acceleration of growth in the first half of 2021. In particular, mobile has expanded rapidly, with countries such as China, South Africa, Denmark, Hungary and Luxembourg joining the solution.

With market and network expansion set to continue throughout 2021, Matthew Lawlor, Spearline CTO and Co-founder added that it is essential to respond to customer needs promptly and actively work to ensure that the relevant infrastructure has been established in each country.

“We respond to our customers internationally by growing our business in line with theirs, this includes our global coverage and POPs,” said Lawlor. “We are also continuously evolving and adapting our product offering to best suit customer needs.”
