Tata Communications has released its ‘JAMVEE’ cloud-based calling solution to enhance employee experience and productivity.

JAMVEE provides users with voice calling, messaging, and collaboration features, and enables secure communications between colleagues on any Android, Windows, or iOS desktop device.

The solution has been specifically designed for frontline workers. It has a simple interface, allowing users to call, chat, and share voice recordings with co-workers in a Closed User Group (CUG).

Mysore Madhusudhan, Executive Vice President, Collaboration and Connected Solutions, Tata Communications, said: “Hybrid working is here to stay and will continue to evolve.

“Any organisation in the process of building or developing a hybrid future for their employees will require calling solutions, but not every worker will require a full suite of embedded collaboration tools. JAMVEE is designed with this in mind.

“It provides a range of services and facilities while ensuring the investment is economical for the enterprise.

“JAMVEE gives a lean, secure, and scalable collaboration set-up for their staff and ensures a connected workforce far more efficiently than before.”

According to Tata Communications, JAMVEE is quick and easy to integrate with enterprise communication applications.

There are flexible voice calling and data roaming plans, which the company believes can offer customers a “cost-efficient” solution to meet the employee communication and collaboration needs of a company.

For employees traveling overseas, JAMVEE can be used in conjunction with Tata Communications MOVE eSIM solution to offer the same high-quality calling, improved efficiency, and competitive pricing.

Onboarding times are speeded up using JAMVEE and it also includes regulatory compliance, fraud prevention APIs, detection, and alerting capabilities to secure employee conversations.

Cost-overflows can also be cut down for deployments of large-scale applications with complex features needing user training and technical infrastructure.

By selecting JAMVEE, Tata Communications can become an all-in-one partner to provide customers with all their collaboration requirements.

Tata Communications has an extensive history of providing and managing employee engagement solutions.

Part of the Tata Group, Tata Communications describes itself as a “global digital ecosystem enabler”, which is currently operational in over 190 countries, offering communication and collaboration products, connectivity, media services, and cloud hosting and security solutions.
