Leading customer engagement company, Verint, recently announced the integration of its Financial Compliance portfolio with the Microsoft Teams solution. The Verint compliance capabilities will work across the Microsoft Teams environment to support employees in regulated environments and help them comply with crucial regulations.
According to the Senior Vice President of Global Channels and alliances for Verint, John Bourne, companies are challenged by the increasing volume and scope of communications. There's a lot of data that needs to be successfully stored and recorded today. The ability to access the combined features Verint Compliance solutions and Microsoft Teams was originally announced in July. Now, the two companies are ready to showcase the full results of this unique collaboration.
Recording for Microsoft Teams
Collaborative tools like Microsoft Teams are essential for powering better communication at all levels within an organization. However, traditional recording solutions weren't designed to capture all the communication modes of such a platform, including video meetings, instant messaging, and screen calls. This is a problem for businesses in regulated environments, where compliance rules require the retention of all forms of electronic communications.
The multi-platform recording capabilities from Verint make it possible for companies using Microsoft Teams to comply with government and industry regulatory monitoring requirements. Verint's solution was one of the first to be certified for use with Microsoft Skype for Business. Currently, it's one of only a few solutions that can capture and analyse information shared via all communication modes offered by Skype.
Mike Ammerlaan, Director, Office & SharePoint Ecosystem Marketing at Microsoft, said that the company is pleased that Verint has leveraged its success with Skype for Business to deliver the same benefits to the Teams platform. The collaboration will allow customers to meet crucial challenges in the current regulatory environment.
